International Assistance Group® reinforced its presence in North Africa - 8th March 2010
International Assistance Group® selected Maroc Assistance Internationale as a new Member in Morocco from March 2010.As per the motto "Local Partners Global Solutions", all the International Assistance Group® Members are emergency assistance leaders in their respective countries and geographical regions and have a proven track record in delivering quality services. Like every Member, Maroc Assistance Internationale has only been invited to join the International Assistance Group® after having met the most stringent criteria required for medical assistance.
Maroc Assistance Internationale is a long established company in Morocco started in 1976. MAI is a limited company, mainly shareholded by Banque Centrale Populaire (number 1 on Moroccan market) and some other Moroccan investors.MAI was mainly dedicated to the repatriation of mortal remains of Moroccan citizens living abroad (10,000 cases opened a year only for this activity). The recent commercial strategy is the development of a rapidly increasing travel insurance portfolio (growing by 50%). For this booming activity MAI needed to rely on a strong international network.
